My teaching style is interactive and upbeat, so students can expect a fun lesson. I believe that if students are willing to learn and put in effort, they will be able to reap the rewards of their hard work. My English lessons typically include the following: Oral and writing - Brainstorming ideas and Discussions on a wide variety of topics (e.g. news articles, websites) Reading comprehension - Basic reading skills (e.g. skimming and scanning) and question answering strategies I also offer coaching on presentation/essay writing for academic research (GRE analytical writing score: 5.5) and proof reading for academic articles. Besides my academic background, I also have prior experience teaching ESL in Tokyo and many of my Japanese students have succeeded in using the English language in speeches and presentations at work.
