As a Masters graduate in Applied Economics and a Bachelor's degree from University of Toronto, Canada in Economics and Employment Relations, I have been exposed to a plethora of theoretical insight in Economics, Finance and Business concepts. As a student in Toronto, I was elected to become an Economics mentor at the Academic Success Centre, presenting fine economic theories and tools for success in Economics to up to 25 students at a time. Having the ability to understand complex concepts by breaking them down into smaller ideas, I like to use flowcharts and diagrams to make sense of a concept that may seem difficult at a higher level.
I have been recognized for my academic excellence at NUS for being amongst the top 5% of the program in Behavioural Economics in 2016/2017. Furthermore, I have also received a scholarship for outstanding academic achievement from University of Toronto and a merit for excellent achievement for the GCSE O-level exams.
I have also worked with children between four and six years old who are socially and economically unable to attend school in the slum area of Waldala in Mumbai. Finally, I enjoy working with people and have been recognized for my presentation and communication skills; students consider me as being approachable and friendly.
