    Experience :
    I've had 4 years of tutoring experience. My current pri 3 student whom I have taught dince pri 1 has improved from last few in class to first in class.  The parent of my previous pri 2 chinese kid had feedbacked that she is able to memorise her chinese spelling within a shorter duration and obtain full marks for it. My previous O-Level Math student who failed Math in her sec 4 years managed to obtain a B3 within a sheer 5 months of tuition.  My approach is for the student to first understand the basics. Building on the foundation is very important as it is the basis of scoring well. Next I will move on to application of what I have taught in the lesson so that the child is able to get a feel of it. Of course I attribute these success stories to the parents of my tutees who heeded my feedback and supervised their children when I realize the children were slacking off.  Nurturing good habits such as completing homework on time is essential as it ensures that the student keeps up with the pace of what the tutor has planned out for them.
