This new academy will offer cyber defence evaluation services to help government organizations analyze how efficient their IT systems are when it comes to safety against damaging cyber attacks.

What Does the Academy Aim at?

The launch of the academy is an important step toward the accomplishment of the National Cyber Security Masterplan 2018 of Infocomm Development Authority. The Masterplan aims at addressing     the ever-increasing threat of complicated cyber attacks. The emphasis is on protecting all the units including IT systems in organizations, IT education in schools and private tutors in Singapore offering computer education against cyber hits, minor or major!

How the Academy Will Function

The academy will provide tested cyber defence evaluation services to make IT systems within organizations (mostly government ones) more advanced, safe and reliable. Also, it will address the lack of trained and qualified IT security experts in the industry.

The academy will be able to imitate practical extensive cyber attacks by using security solutions from Ixia. This will help countless users to assess the resiliency of their IT systems against major attacks, including Distributed Denial of Service. The academy will also be offering Continuing Education and Training to help working people to keep updated with the latest technology!
